It is time for us as Christians to stand up and say hey we are still here!
If you have watched TV or read a paper or magazine, you have noted a deliberate lack of anything about the right, (not to mention Christianity) unless it is to attack it (them, us). Unless you watch Fox news you would not have even known about the tax tea parties until yesterday (it was just to big to ignore). If I didn't know better (and I don't) I would say that this is deliberate, and that the main stream media was trying quelch anything on the right. We are still 1/2 of the voting public, and we should still have a voice. If the gays, environmentalist, or anti world trade people had a protest, it would be plastered all over the news, even if only twenty people showed up. There were three hundred thousand people at these tea parties and it barely was a blip on news and all of that coverage was negative (excluding the aforementioned Fox News). As far as I know their where no fights or violence, yet we are seen as hatemongers. From what I have seen in the News almost every protest (that I have seen) from one of these other groups, always ends in violence, yet we are the extremest.
